The shapes, the card and the printing
Each shape starts as a 3.5 by 2 inch card, set wide or standing tall: an oval that fills the card, or a leaf with two corners rounded at about 0.9 inch. Choose Standard (14 pt) or Premium (16 pt) card, glossy or matte, printed in full color on one side or both, from 250 up to 25,000. Design yours online: the designer shows the cut line and keeps your words inside the shape.
Two shapes, two moods
The oval is a statement for a bakery, a boutique, a spa or a brand with a round logo. The leaf, with two wide corners on a diagonal, suits landscapers, florists, yoga studios and anything natural or flowing. Both start as a standard 3.5 by 2 inch card, so they fit every wallet and card case.
Designing for a shape
Keep your words and logo well inside the cut: on an oval, the corners of a rectangle are cut away, so center the design and keep it compact; on a leaf, keep clear of the two wide corners. Our designer draws the cut line on your card, shades what is cut away and warns you before anything sits too close to the edge. Our shape templates are drawn to fit.
Glossy or matte, Standard or Premium
Glossy cards have a bright UV coating that makes photos and colors pop; matte has a smooth, glare-free finish that reads well in any light. Standard is a sturdy 14 pt card; Premium is a thicker 16 pt card that feels more substantial. Every shape comes in all four.
Good to know
Background colors and photos can run to the edge of the shape: we print past the cut and trim to the die, so there is no white rim. The leaf's wide corners swap sides on the back, top left and bottom right, so a two sided design stays inside the cut on both faces.
How ordering works
Design it online: start from one of our templates or your own logo, or upload a print-ready file in the designer, and see the price for every quantity as you go. The price is for the whole order, from 250, and the more you order, the less each one costs. We check every file and send a proof within 1 business day, and nothing is made until you approve it. It is ready to pick up or ships 6 to 7 business days after you approve the proof. Pick it up free at our Hopewell Junction shop, or we ship it anywhere in the US.

What shapes can I choose?
An oval that fills the 3.5 by 2 inch card, or a leaf with two opposite corners rounded at about 0.9 inch. For soft corners on a standard card, choose rounded corners on almost any paper.
Do die-cut cards fit a standard card holder?
Yes. Every shape is cut from a standard 3.5 by 2 inch card, so it fits wallets, card cases and desk holders.
Can my background go all the way to the edge?
Yes. Set your background past the edge of the shape and we trim it to the cut, so the color runs cleanly to the edge.
How many can I order?
From 250 up to 25,000: 250, 500, 750, 1,000, 2,500, 5,000, 10,000, 15,000, 20,000 or 25,000.
How long do die-cut cards take?
They are printed in 4 to 5 business days after you approve your proof, then ready for pickup or shipped to you. Rush is not available on die-cut cards.

Good to know
Standard turnaround is 6 to 7 business days from proof approval, ready to pick up or ship, not from the order date: the clock starts when you say go. This one has no rush option. Call us at 845-202-7600 with a date and we'll tell you whether it's possible.
