What it's for

Hard hat stickers let a crew tell at a glance who is who on a busy site: the company, the foreman, the visitor, the person trained in first aid. Contractors, builders, utilities, municipalities and plants use them to brand their hard hats, mark roles and training, and make sure every hat that leaves the yard comes back. Sizes, shapes and material

Hard hat stickers are printed in full color on white vinyl with a protective laminate. Choose a 2 inch or 2.5 inch circle, a 2 by 3 inch rectangle with rounded corners, or a 2 inch sticker cut to the shape of your logo. They are small enough to sit on the side or the back of a hard hat without wrapping over a ridge. Reflective vinyl is available too: ORALITE 5600 engineer grade reflective film in a gloss finish (it is not laminated), which shines back in headlights, for crews on roads and night work. Why crews label hard hats

A logo on every hard hat tells visitors, inspectors and neighbors whose crew is on the site. Role stickers show who is in charge and who is a visitor. Training stickers help a supervisor find the person certified in first aid or CPR in a hurry. And a hat with the company name on it is more likely to find its way back to the truck at the end of the day.

Size and shape for a curved shell

A hard hat is curved in every direction, so small stickers sit flatter and last longer than big ones. A 2 inch circle is the most common size for a logo; 2.5 inches gives a logo with a name around it more room. The 2 by 3 inch rectangle suits a name, a role or a short training line. Cut to shape, your logo alone looks like part of the hat.

Materials

Hard hat stickers are printed on white vinyl, with a laminate over the print that protects it from scuffs and sun. Keep the design bold and simple, with high contrast colors, since the sticker is read from several feet away on a moving head.

Role and training stickers

Common role stickers say FOREMAN, SUPERVISOR, VISITOR, NEW HIRE or SAFETY. Training stickers mark first aid and CPR, a competent person, or OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 training. Only put a training sticker on the hat of a worker who actually holds that training, and let your safety program decide who gets which. We print what you tell us to print.
