Vendor setup and
compliance paperwork.
Adding a new vendor usually means chasing someone for a W-9, then a COI, then a signed registration form. Everything you need is on this page. If your district or municipality has its own packet, send it over and we'll fill it out and send it back.
Documents, tax exemption and payment
What we can send you
- Form W-9: current, signed, with our EIN
- Certificate of Insurance: general liability, naming you as certificate holder and additional insured if required
- Vendor registration form: completed against your template
- Business details: legal entity name, DBA, address, remit-to
- Bid and quote formats: itemized to match your RFQ
Tax exemption
If you're a school, district, municipality, fire company or qualifying nonprofit in New York, send your Form ST-119.1 (or ST-120 if you're buying for resale) with your account application. Once we approve it, orders from your account aren't charged sales tax while the certificate is valid. Government offices don't need a certificate at all: your purchase order is the proof.
Ordering before you apply? Upload the certificate at checkout instead. We charge the sales tax on that order and refund it to the card or bank account you paid with once we approve your certificate.
Apply for an accountHow you can pay
No processing fees, ever. Card, Google Pay, ACH, PO or check, the price you are quoted is the price you pay.
Purchase orders and Net 30 are for approved accounts. Apply online in about five minutes. While we review it, you can place your order as a purchase order request: nothing is charged, and it goes ahead as soon as your account is approved.
