Graduation Yard Signs & Banners

What it's for

A graduation sign on the lawn lets the whole street know who worked hard this year. Families order a single sign with their graduate's photo, name and school colors; schools, PTOs and booster clubs order one for every senior; and many families add a banner for the garage door or the fence at the party. Send us the photo and the name exactly as it should read, and we will check the spelling and the picture with you on the proof before anything is printed.

Sizes, printing and stakes

Graduation yard signs are printed in full color on 4mm corrugated plastic. The 24 by 36 inch sign, standing tall, suits a family ordering for one graduate; the 24 by 18 inch sign, set wide, suits teams, classes and schools ordering for a group. Both start at one sign. Add an H-stake for each sign. For the party, add a vinyl banner, hemmed with grommets for hanging, from 2 by 4 feet up to 4 by 8 feet. Celebrate your graduate

The best graduation signs keep it simple: "Congratulations", the graduate's first name large, "Class of 2027", and the school. A photo makes it personal, and the school's colors make it read from down the block. Templates cover high school and college graduates, kindergarten and moving-up ceremonies, "proud family of a graduate" signs, college commitments and senior signs for athletes and musicians.

One sign or a whole class

A family ordering for one graduate usually picks the tall 24 by 36 inch sign, which gives a photo plenty of room. Teams, clubs and classes ordering together usually pick the 24 by 18 inch sign, which costs less each the more you order. Each different name is its own design, so a coach ordering for twelve seniors adds each senior to the cart as a line, or asks us to set up the whole team at once.

Banners for the party

A banner on the garage door, the fence or the deck rail turns a backyard into a party. Choose 2 by 4 feet for a door or a table front, 3 by 6 feet for a garage door, or 4 by 8 feet for a big fence. Banners are printed on 13 oz vinyl with hemmed edges and grommets for tying up. Design a graduation banner with the same photo and colors as the yard sign.

For schools, PTOs and teams

Schools and parent groups often order a sign for every senior as a surprise, or a set of "Class of 2027" signs for the entrance and the field. Send us a spreadsheet of names and we will talk through the easiest way to set them up. Booster clubs pair senior signs with class shirts and stickers for the whole class.

Photos that print sharply

Use the original senior portrait file from the photographer, or the full-size photo from your phone, not a screenshot or a picture saved from social media. For a 24 by 36 inch sign, a photo of about 3,000 pixels on its long side or more prints cleanly. The designer warns you if a photo is too small, and we will look at it again when we check your file.
