Campaign yard signs on 4mm corrugated plastic, full color on one side or both, with H-stakes, for town, county and school races.

What it's for

Campaign yard signs do one thing well: they put a name in front of voters every day until Election Day. Candidates for town board, county legislature, school board, judge and state office order them, and so do committees for and against a ballot question. We print them on the same weatherproof corrugated plastic as every yard sign we make, and we will look over every proof with you, down to the spelling of the name and the committee on the paid-for line, before anything prints. Call us if you are unsure how many to order; we are glad to talk it through.

Sizes, printing and stakes

Campaign signs are printed in full color on 4mm corrugated plastic, on one side or both. The 24 by 18 inch sign is the standard lawn size; 18 by 12 inches is the smaller, lower cost sign for a big run; and 24 by 36 inches, standing tall, is for corners, headquarters and busy roads. Add a wire H-stake for each sign so it goes straight into the lawn. Design yours online from a campaign template, or upload your committee's finished file.

Signs for town, county and school races

Most local campaigns use the 24 by 18 inch sign on lawns, where it reads from the street with the last name large and the office below it. Big campaigns and slates often add a run of 18 by 12 inch signs for supporters who want something smaller, and a few 24 by 36 inch signs for the busiest intersections and the headquarters window. Keep the message to the name, the office and one short line, in two strong colors, so a driver can read it in the second or two they have.

Printing and stakes

Double-sided signs show the same design both ways by default, so drivers see it coming and going, but the back can say something different, such as "Vote November 3" or "Early voting October 24 to November 1". The corrugated plastic stands up to rain and wind for a whole season. H-stakes slide into the flutes at the bottom edge and push into the ground by hand, so a volunteer can set out a car full of signs in an afternoon.

This election's calendar

The general election is Tuesday, November 3, 2026, and early voting in New York runs from Saturday, October 24 through Sunday, November 1. Signs do the most good when they are up before early voting starts, so order with time for the proof and printing; the designer shows when your order will be ready before you check out. When the calendar is tight, rush printing prints most orders the next business day, with no separate proof: the sign on your screen is what prints. Pick them up at our Hopewell Junction shop, or we ship them to you.

Pieces that match

Voters should see the same colors and name everywhere. Order palm cards to hand out door to door, bumper stickers for supporters' cars, door hangers for canvassing, EDDM postcards to reach every mailbox in a district, a vinyl banner for the headquarters and car magnets for the candidate's own car. We keep your artwork on file, so every piece matches the signs.

The paid-for line, in brief

New York's Election Law, section 14-106, asks political committees to print "Paid for by" and the committee's name on their political communications. The same section treats small promotional items, including yard signs and bumper stickers limited to the candidate's name, the office and a brief message of support, as exempt. Every campaign template carries a "Paid for by" line so it is there when you need it. Check with your campaign committee about your own signs, and see our political sign templates for more.

How ordering works

Design it online: start from one of our templates or your own logo, or upload a print-ready file in the designer, and see the price for every quantity as you go. You can order just one, and the price of each drops as you order more. We check every file and send a proof within 1 business day, and nothing is made until you approve it. It is ready to pick up or ships 7 to 8 business days after you approve the proof. Rush orders are printed the next business day, with no separate proof: the design on your screen is what prints. See how rush printing works. Pick it up free at our Hopewell Junction shop, or we ship it anywhere in the US.

Questions about political campaign signs

What size is a standard campaign sign?

24 by 18 inches, set wide, is the size most local campaigns put on lawns. The 18 by 12 inch sign costs less for a big run, and the 24 by 36 inch sign is for busy corners.

Should both sides be the same design?

Usually, yes: a double-sided sign on a lawn is read from both directions, so the same name on both sides doubles its reach. Use a different back when you want a second message, such as the early voting dates.

Do signs come with stakes?

Add an H-stake for each sign when you order. The wire stake slides into the bottom edge of the sign and pushes into the lawn by hand.

How soon can we pick up signs in Hopewell Junction?

The designer shows the date before you pay: the day they are ready to pick up free at our shop or ship to you. Signs are printed in the business days it shows for your size and quantity, counted from when you approve the proof. Rush printing prints most orders the next business day, with no separate proof. Shipped, checkout shows the day they arrive.

Can you match our palm cards and bumper stickers?

Yes. Use the same colors, fonts and name on every piece, or send us your sign file and we will set up the palm cards, bumper stickers and door hangers to match.

Can we reorder the same sign next election?

Yes. We keep your artwork, so a reorder is quick. Change the year or the office if it has changed, approve the new proof, and the signs are on their way.
