A handwritten thank you still gets noticed. Businesses send them after a first order, a closing, a referral or a big job; nonprofits send them to donors and volunteers; families send them after a wedding, a shower or a graduation party. A printed card with your logo, a photo or a simple greeting on the front and room for a personal note on the back makes the habit easy. Sizes, paper and printing

Thank you cards are flat cards printed in full color on thick card stock, on one side or both, laid wide or standing tall at the same price. Choose A2, 4.25 by 5.5 inches, the classic note card size; 5 by 7 inches for more room; or 4 by 6 inches, which can also mail as a postcard. They start on the writable stock, with a back made to write on, so a note in any everyday pen stays crisp; a coated card is offered too. Design yours online from a thank you template, or upload your own file.

Say thank you in writing

An email is read once; a card is kept on a desk or a fridge, and it reminds the customer, client or donor of you every time they see it. Keep a stack by the register, in the truck or at the front desk, and make writing two or three a week part of the routine. A short, specific note ("Thank you for trusting us with your kitchen") does more than a long one.

Room for a note

These are flat cards: the design goes on the front and your note goes on the back. The back of the writable stock is uncoated, so it takes ballpoint, felt tip and pencil cleanly, and the templates leave it light, with a few pale lines or plenty of open space. If you want a printed message on the back as well, keep it short and near the top so there is still room for your handwriting.

Add something useful

A thank you card can also bring the next order. Print a discount code for the next purchase, a QR code to leave a review, a referral offer, or your hours and website on the back. Keep it to one ask, and put it at the bottom so the note comes first.
