Heavy-Duty Coroplast Signs

What it's for

Heavy-duty coroplast signs are yard signs on thicker board, for signs that have to stay up: a contractor's sign at a job site for the length of the project, a property or private road sign, a real estate sign on a commercial listing, a big sign at the corner of a lot. The heavier board stands up to wind better and holds its shape on larger signs. Tell us where it is going and for how long, and we will help you choose the thickness and size.

Thickness, sizes and grommets

Printed in full color on 6mm, 8mm or 10mm corrugated plastic, on one side or both, from one sign: 24 by 6, 18 by 12, 24 by 18, 24 by 24, 24 by 36 or 48 by 48 inches. Basic design and setup are included, as on every yard sign. The heavier boards go on posts, frames and walls, and grommets in the top 2 or all 4 corners hang them on a fence or a wall; H-stakes are for the 4mm yard signs. 4mm, 6mm, 8mm or 10mm

The standard yard sign is 4mm, light and made for a season. 6mm is half again as thick and noticeably stiffer in the wind. 8mm is twice the standard and holds its shape on big signs and on posts. 10mm is the heaviest, stiff like a board, for job site, property and real estate signs that stay up. 10mm is made from 1 to 20 signs at a time.

Coroplast, aluminum or foam board?

Coroplast is corrugated plastic: waterproof, light and inexpensive, the board for outdoor signs on stakes, frames and fences (H-stakes on 4mm). For a sign meant to last for years outdoors, an aluminum sign is the step up. For indoor signs, foam board and styrene have a smoother face for close reading.

Timing

Heavy-duty signs are printed in about 4 to 5 business days after you approve your proof, then come to our Hopewell Junction shop for pickup, or are shipped to you. Rush is not available on the heavier boards; if the date is tight, 4mm yard signs can often be printed the next business day.

Design it online: start from one of our templates or your own logo, or upload a print-ready file in the designer, and see the price for every quantity as you go. You can order just one, and the price of each drops as you order more. We check every file and send a proof within 1 business day, and nothing is made until you approve it. It is ready to pick up or ships 6 to 7 business days after you approve the proof. Pick it up free at our Hopewell Junction shop, or we ship it anywhere in the US.
