Made for the walk up the driveway
A door hanger is read in a few seconds, standing on a front step. The templates put the reason to call at the top, right under the hole, where the eye lands first: a season's offer, "Just sold in your neighborhood", a free estimate. The phone number is big, and the back carries the details: what you do, a coupon, the hours, a QR code to your website.
Sizes and the tear-off card
- 3.5" × 8.5": the classic size, light to carry and quick to hang.
- 4.25" × 11": more room for a menu, a list of services or a photo.
- With a tear-off card (3.5" × 8.5"): a perforated 3.5" × 2" card at the bottom, a coupon or a business card the homeowner tears off and keeps on the fridge. Every template has a layout for it.
Printing and pickup
Door hangers print in full color on 14 point glossy card, on the front or on both sides, and are die cut with a 1 1/4" hole and a slit that slips over any doorknob. Color can run right to the edge; the designer keeps your words clear of the hole and the slit and shows both on the proof. Order from 100. They are printed in the business days the designer shows, counted from when you approve your proof, and it gives one date: the day they are ready to pick up free at our Hopewell Junction shop or ship to you.
