Graduation banners

Families hang graduate banners on the garage and the porch; schools line the fence with Class of 2027. The photo designs are laid out so the portrait stays clear of the grommets, with the name and the class year large enough to read from the street. A 2 × 4 ft banner is right for a porch rail, 3 × 6 ft for a garage or a fence.

For the school year

August and September: welcome back, welcome back to school, school open house, and "first day" with the date and its weekday.
Fall: homecoming, school spirit, the book fair and the PTO fun run.
Winter and spring: kindergarten registration for 2027-2028 with a web address, the winter concert, and thank you, teachers.
Budget vote: "Budget vote and board election, Tuesday, May 18, 2027", neutral, for a district to hang.

Colors, logos and neutrality

Tap any color to switch it to the school's. School and team marks go on a banner when the school has given permission to use them. A banner paid for by the district may state the date and hours of a vote but not urge a yes or no; a PTO spending its own money may.

What size graduation banner should I get?

For a porch or a railing, 2 × 4 ft. For a garage door or a fence seen from the road, 3 × 6 ft. Both have room for a senior portrait and the name.

Can the PTO order banners for several events at once?

Yes. Leave the dates off the evergreen ones (welcome back, school spirit, thank you teachers) and they come out every year; print the dated event banners as you need them.
