For polling sites
Vote here, polling place entrance, early voting site and "vote, Election Day" signs carry no candidate, party or position, with arrows left, right and straight ahead. New York bars electioneering and political signs within 100 feet of a polling place entrance while the polls are open (Election Law 8-104), so these are the only signs that belong at the door. Early voting runs Saturday, October 24 through Sunday, November 1, 2026, and Election Day is Tuesday, November 3.
For campaigns
- Candidate and re-elect inserts in navy and red, bold navy, or with a photo.
- Sheriff, State Assembly and vote yes on designs.
- Campaign headquarters, for the office door and the sidewalk out front.
Every campaign template carries a "Paid for by" line, as New York Election Law 14-106 asks of political communications.
School budget votes
For the May 18, 2027 budget vote, the district notice gives the date, hours and place without urging a result, which is all a district may pay for. A PTA using its own money may print "vote yes".
