What it's for

A folded card says more than a flat one before it is even opened. Businesses send them to clients at the holidays and to say thank you after a big job; offices use them for birthdays, work anniversaries and sympathy; families send them at Christmas and Hanukkah, after a wedding or to welcome a new baby. Start from a template with its inside already written, add your logo or photo, and we will look over every word with you on the proof.

Sizes, paper and printing

Greeting cards are printed in full color on thick 14 point card, on the outside only (blank inside, to write in) or outside and inside. Choose 5 by 7 inches, the standard greeting card; A2, 4.25 by 5.5 inches, the note card size; or 5.5 by 8.5 inches for a large card. Each folds at the side, standing tall like a book, or at the top, laid wide, at the same price. Glossy, Matte or Writable paper, with a plain white envelope for each card if you like, from 10 cards to 100,000. Design yours online from a greeting card template, or upload your own file.

The outside and the inside

A greeting card is one sheet, scored down the middle. In the designer you see it as it prints: the outside holds the front cover and the back of the card, where a business puts its logo and website; the inside holds the two panels the card opens to. Every template comes with its inside written and signed, and you can change any word or pick another inside on its own.

Folded or flat?

A folded card keeps the message private until it is opened and leaves room to write. A flat card is quicker to sign and costs less to mail. For flat cards, see our thank you cards, invitations and postcards; for a card that opens, start here.

Envelopes

Choose envelopes and each card comes with a plain white envelope sized to fit it. Want your return address printed on them? Design them in our envelope designer, and match them to your cards.

Foil and spot UV greeting cards

Add gold or silver foil, or a raised spot UV gloss, to the cover, the inside or both, and mark the words or shapes that should shine. Foil greeting cards and spot UV greeting cards come in A2, 5 by 7 and 5.5 by 8.5, matte laminated, from 50 cards, with envelopes if you like, each with its own designer and prices.

Holiday cards for your business

For the holidays, our business holiday cards open on designs made for your logo, and our photo holiday cards take your family or team photo, for Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, the New Year, Thanksgiving and season's greetings. Short on time in December? Our holiday card service prints, addresses, stamps and mails them for you.

How ordering works

Design it online: start from one of our templates or your own logo, or upload a print-ready file in the designer, and see the price for every quantity as you go. The price is for the whole order, from 10, and the more you order, the less each one costs. We check every file and send a proof within 1 business day, and nothing is made until you approve it. It is ready to pick up or ships 6 to 7 business days after you approve the proof. Pick it up free at our Hopewell Junction shop, or we ship it anywhere in the US.
