Made for easels and walls
Foam board is a light, stiff board with a smooth face, printed in full color. It stands on an easel without bending, leans on a table, hangs on a wall with adhesive strips, and goes home in the back of a car after the event. It is made for indoors: for a sign that lives outside, choose coroplast or aluminum.
Sizes and where they go
- 24" × 36": the classic easel and welcome sign, read from across a room.
- 18" × 24": a smaller easel, a table or a door.
- 36" × 48": a presentation or a sign seen from the back of a hall.
- 12" × 12" and 24" × 24": logos, photo displays and table signs.
- 12" × 24" and 24" × 48": tall and slim, for a doorway or an aisle.
Every template is laid out for each of these, standing tall or laid wide, and the words stay clear of the easel's lip.
Wording that works on an easel
One idea per sign, read in a glance: the welcome and the names, or the event and the time. Put the one thing people need first in the biggest letters, keep the rest to a line or two, and use the back of a two-sided sign for a second message, such as the schedule.
