A label that does its job
A product label has two jobs: sell the product from the shelf and carry the facts the law asks for. The front, the principal display panel, gets the product name largest, then the flavor or scent, then the net quantity in the bottom third. The ingredient, allergen and maker lines go on a second panel or a back label, set no smaller than 1/16 of an inch; the templates set them at about 8 points.
Shapes, stocks and inks
- Shapes: rectangles, squares, circles and ovals; in full color any size up to 12 inches, or cut to the shape of your art.
- Stocks: paper, film, foil or vinyl; film and vinyl stand up to fridges, ice buckets and oily hands.
- Ink: full color, or one to six solid inks; the templates for solid inks use only colors those inks can print.
Labels come wound on rolls for hand application or for a labeling machine; tell us which when you order.
