Letters that look like the firm
An envelope is the first thing a client sees of a letter, and a firm's mail is often read for tone before it is opened. These corners stay quiet: a name, a rule or a small mark, the address and one way to reach you. There is room for a suite number and for a second line such as "Attorneys at Law" or "Certified Public Accountants".
Tax season and client packets
- #10 for letters and engagement letters, plain or with a window for statements.
- 9" × 12" for returns and client packets, with "Important documents enclosed" or "Please do not bend" below the corner.
- 10" × 13" for a pocket folder of documents.
From the shop: Keep a box of catalog envelopes with "Important documents enclosed" on hand for tax season: they get opened first.
