A flag for each season
- Summer: FARM STAND and FRESH PRODUCE at the driveway.
- September and October: PICK YOUR OWN APPLES, then PUMPKINS.
- Late November: CHRISTMAS TREES, the day the lot opens.
- All year: FRESH EGGS and LOCAL HONEY at the honor box.
Swap the flag on the same pole as the crops change; the base stays in the ground all season.
Pair with signs
Flags catch the eye; signs give the details. Put a flag at the road and a yard sign or A-frame beside it with the price and the hours: "sweet corn, $7 a dozen". Our farm yard sign and A-frame templates match these flags.
Built for open fields
A teardrop flag holds its shape in the wind that crosses open farmland; a feather flag is taller and reads from further away. Use a ground spike in the field and take flags down in a storm.
From the shop: A ground spike goes in easiest after rain. In dry, hard ground, start the hole with a stake or a screwdriver first.
