Line the entrance
A row of logo flags along the entrance road, or a pair at the gate, tells arriving guests they found it. WELCOME at the entrance and your logo on your brand color along the drive make even a school field look like an event. For a festival with sponsors, a flag in each sponsor's color with their logo is a sponsorship perk.
Tonight only
Chicken barbecue and fireworks tonight flags go out the morning of the event, where the road traffic is, and come in that night. Keep them to the event and a single word more; the date belongs on a yard sign or banner beside them.
Setting them up
On grass, a ground spike; on asphalt, a cross base weighed with a water bag. Space flags at least their height apart so they do not tangle. Flags ship straight to you, so order two weeks before the event.
From the shop: Fill cross base water bags on site; they are heavy to carry full. Bring a jug if the venue has no hose.
