One to three words
Flags twist in the wind, so each design carries one to three big words running up the flag, a mark near the top and a short line: URGENT CARE and "open 7 days", FLU SHOTS and "walk-ins welcome", SALON and "walk-ins welcome". No phone numbers or small print.
Colors and marks
Healthcare flags stay in calm blues and teals, with a white plus rather than a red cross, which federal law restricts. Gyms go bold in black and orange, salons and nail salons in pink and purple, and yoga in sage green.
Setting them out
Feather flags come in four heights with a pole and base, or as the flag alone for hardware you already have. They ship straight to you about 2 business days after you approve the proof, plus transit. Some towns limit flags or require a permit, so check before you set them out.
From the shop: Set the flag where drivers turn in, not at the door. People look for urgent care and flu shots from the road, and a flag at the turn tells them where.
