On doors and in frames
Styrene is a thin, smooth plastic sheet, so a classroom sign lies flat against the door with double-sided tape, and a visitor sign slides into a hallway frame or a snap frame. It stands up to a school year of hands and backpacks, and a damp cloth takes the fingerprints off.
Signs a school uses all year
- Classroom door: the room number, the teacher and the grade.
- Visitors report to the office: inside the glass of the front doors, facing out.
- Student of the month: on the bulletin board outside the office.
- Home of the team: in the gym lobby or along the locker room hall.
- Science fair title: across the top of the project board itself.
Sizes for a school
12" × 18" fits most classroom doors; 18" × 24" suits a hallway frame or the front doors; the 6" × 24" strip runs above a doorway or along the top of a trophy case.
