Walk-ins and new patients
An A-frame outside the door does what a building sign cannot: it changes with the season. Flu shots and vaccines go out September through November; "now accepting new patients" when the schedule has room; "salon, walk-ins welcome" whenever there is a free chair. Put the service in the top third and the phone or a booking QR code at eye level.
Claims a practice may make
New York's rules for licensed professions (8 NYCRR 29.1) bar unprovable superiority and guarantees, so the templates never say "best" or "painless". A new patient special names the date it ends and notes that additional charges may apply. Pharmacies list only the vaccines they give.
Fitness and wellness
Join now A-frames for gyms carry the offer and its end date, "no enrollment fee through January 31"; yoga classes list the schedule; day spa and salon signs lean on soft neutrals and Playfair Display. A QR code for booking online works well on a walk-up sign.
