Bold without losing the phone number
A bold card uses a strong background, a heavy face for the name and high contrast for everything else. The trap is small, low-contrast text on a dark color; the templates keep contact lines at 8 points or more, in white or a bright accent on the dark color, so the phone number is still easy to read.
Styles
- Bold dark: charcoal or black with white type and one bright accent.
- Bold color block: two strong colors split across the card.
- Yellow and black: the trade look, for roofers and electricians.
- Two tone: a broker's card with a band of color and the name large.
Print notes
Full-bleed color runs past the edge and is trimmed, so the backgrounds reach every edge cleanly. Heavy coverage looks best with a finish; ask for soft touch when you order for a velvet feel that also resists fingerprints.
From the shop: A dark card shows fingerprints and scuffs. Ask for a soft touch finish when you order; it hides them and feels good in the hand.
