Clinicians
A clinician's card leads with the name and credentials (Jane Smith, DDS; Jane Smith, DPT), then the practice, the phone and the address. Keep it calm and clean: navy, steel blue, teal, white. New York bars licensed health professions from unprovable superiority claims, so the templates leave out words like "best".
Appointments
- Appointment backs: the day, the date and the time of the next visit, a notice line and the phone, for dentists, doctors, eye care, therapists, vets, stylists and barbers.
- Loyalty cards: a salon, a barbershop and a yoga class card with spaces to stamp.
- Class schedules: a gym or studio card with the week's classes on the back.
- Booking: a QR code to book online, about three quarters of an inch square.
Salons, spas and trainers
Stylists, barbers and spas lean on warmer colors and serif type; trainers and gyms on bold black and orange. Each keeps the booking line large, because the card's real job is the next appointment.
From the shop: Hand an appointment card over with the next date already written in. It is far more likely to end up on the fridge than in the trash.
