What goes on the front
The name first, then what you serve in a few words, then the three things people look for: the address, the hours and the phone number for orders. A web address or a menu link belongs there too if you take orders online. Keep the hours current; a card with last year's hours sends people to a closed door.
A back that brings people back
- A menu QR code: people scan it to order ahead for pickup.
- An order card for custom cakes: the name, the pickup date and time, and the order.
- A punch card: nine coffees, the tenth free, and the same idea for pizza, subs, bagels, bread, cones, juices and smoothies.
Catering
The black and gold catering card lists the events you cater, so the person planning an office lunch or a rehearsal dinner knows to call. Leave a stack with the host stand and slip one into every large order.
Printing and pickup
Cards are 14 point stock in full color, one side or both, with a proof before anything prints, and ready for pickup in Hopewell Junction.
From the shop: Put a card in every takeout bag. It costs less than a menu and it goes home with the one person who just decided to order from you.
