What goes on it
- Company and your name, with your logo.
- Up to three services: "Roofing, siding, gutters".
- Phone in the biggest type after the name, then email and web address.
- License numbers, one per county you work in.
License numbers around the Hudson Valley
Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Nassau, Suffolk and New York City ask for your home improvement license number on advertising, and Westchester and Rockland name stationery specifically, so it belongs on your card. Movers in New York show their address and NYSDOT certificate number in all advertising; interstate movers add "U.S. DOT No." with their number. Keep "licensed and insured" off unless you are both.
Make the back work
The back is the place for a list of services, a QR code to reviews or a booking page, or a line such as "Free estimates" if yours are free. Matching truck magnets and job-site yard signs make the whole operation look like one company.
