Service times
The church's name at the top in Playfair Display, the day and times below in Barlow, and the web address at the bottom. A 24" × 36" sign on posts by the road reads from a passing car; an 18" × 24" suits the door. Christmas service times go on a separate sign that hangs for December, so the everyday sign never needs changing.
Outreach that runs every week
- Food pantry hours: the days and hours, and where to go in the building.
- Thrift shop open: "Wed and Sat, 10 to 2".
- Donations accepted: what you take and when to drop it off.
- Church parking: a plain rectangle with an arrow, for the lot and the overflow.
Made to last
Aluminum signs last for years outdoors, which suits a sign that changes only when the schedule does. Tax-exempt organizations should keep candidate endorsements off their signs, and symbols are added as your congregation specifies.
From the shop: Mount service time signs at eye level for people walking up, or on posts at the drive for people driving by. Tell us which, and we will set the letter sizes for it.
