Direct the cars
A service entrance sign with an arrow keeps customers out of the wrong bay; customer parking only keeps the spots by the door free. Keep them plain rectangles in your colors or red and white. A tow-away line goes on only if the lot has a real towing arrangement, and many towns set rules for what a tow sign must show.
Around the lot
- Auto repair and collision repair, with the phone, on the building or a post.
- Pre-owned vehicles and car for sale with a write-on panel for the details.
- EV charging for the charging spots.
Never the inspection sign
The official New York inspection station sign has a design fixed by regulation, yellow with black letters. None of these templates imitate it; order that sign only to the DMV specification for your station's class.
From the shop: Measure the post and the bracket before you order a lot sign; a 12" × 18" sign on a 2 inch post with two holes is the most common setup.
