Curbside spots
A curbside pickup sign goes on a post at the head of the spot: CURBSIDE PICKUP, "reserved, 10 minutes", and "call 845-555-0123 when you arrive" with the number as big as the sign allows. Number the spots if you have several, so the kitchen knows where to walk. 12" × 18" is the usual size.
Inside and at the door
- Online orders pick up here, over the pickup shelf.
- Takeout, call ahead, at the takeout door with the phone.
- Scan to order, with a QR code about one inch across for every 10 inches it is read from.

Built for a parking lot
Plows, car doors and years of sun: .040 aluminum on a post handles all three. Print the phone number large and test the QR code with two phones before you approve the proof.
