For vendors
At a street fair, the tent is the storefront. The "logo and business name" and "big name" designs put your name on every valance so the crowd can find you from the far end of the row, and your logo on the roof. Fair food, coffee and craft vendor designs name what you sell in one word, which is what a hungry crowd scans for.
For organizers
- Information and check-in at the gate.
- First aid and water station, in bold words on a strong color.
- Kids zone, beer garden and VIP lounge, each one easy to spot across the field.
- Proudly sponsored by, for the sponsor who pays for the tent.
Rules at the event
Beer gardens at public events need the event's own permits; the tent simply marks the spot. Tents need weights or stakes at every leg; ask the organizer what the event requires.
From the shop: Dry the canopy before you pack it. A tent packed wet after a rainy fair can mildew in the bag by the next weekend.
