Specials that read at 40 miles an hour
A roadside sign for a shop carries one service and one price. OIL CHANGE $39.99 in the biggest type, then "most vehicles, up to 5 qts, synthetic extra" as the second line, because a price without its qualifier brings arguments at the counter. The set includes brake specials, winter tire swaps, tires, auto repair, collision repair, detailing, and we buy cars.
Inspections and dealer rules
The official New York inspection station sign has a design set by regulation: yellow, three feet by two, with fixed wording. The promotional "NYS inspections" template here is deliberately blue and white so it never imitates it. A dealership event sign follows the Attorney General's guidelines: an advertised price includes everything except tax, title and registration, says so next to the price, and gives the date the offer ends.
Car washes and cars for sale
The charity car wash designs name the cause ("donations support the Ridgeline High School Band") and come with arrows. The car for sale template leaves a write-on panel for the year, make, miles and price; many towns bar selling cars from the street, so park it on private property.
From the shop: Put your sign where cars slow down: at the light or the turn into the lot, facing the traffic that is about to pass you. One good spot beats three signs along a fast road.
