Menus people can read in line
A menu stand is read from 6 to 15 feet by people deciding while they wait. Keep items in two columns at the most, prices lined up on the right, and letters at least an inch tall. The chalkboard designs give a hand-lettered look without a daily chalk job; the coffee bar menu fits a short list of drinks and sizes.
Around the room
- Order here and online orders pick up here, so takeout customers find the right spot.
- Scan for our menu, with a 3 to 4 inch QR code at eye height.
- We cater at the register, where regulars can see it.
- Now hiring servers, with the pay.
At events and markets
At a food fair, a farmers market or a catering tasting, a stand behind the table carries the name and the menu highlights above the heads of the line. X-stands are the light, low-cost choice for occasional events; a retractable stand stays neat for weekly use.
