Opening day and after
A grand opening banner runs from the first day until the town's display limit (30 days for a grand opening banner in East Fishkill, up to 3 × 15 ft), then gives way to now open, then to what you want known: we cater, we deliver, now serving breakfast. Keep one message per banner. A 3 × 8 ft banner fits most storefronts.
Specials and seasons
- Happy hour: days, hours and a deal such as "$2 off drafts". State Liquor Authority rules bar "bottomless" and "all you can drink", so the templates never use them.
- Patio now open, weekend brunch, Friday fish fry, pizza slice deals and fresh coffee.
- Seasonal stands: ice cream, open for the season, and a New Year's Eve party banner.
Food trucks
A food truck banner hangs from the serving window or a tent: the truck's name large, three or four menu highlights, and a web address or social handle so people can find tomorrow's stop. A 2 × 4 ft banner fits most windows; "food truck here today" is a separate banner for the host's lot.
From the shop: Measure the space before you pick a size. A banner that fills the whole fascia looks planned; one that is a foot too short looks temporary, even when it is.
