The card at the front desk
The square reminder is made to hand across the counter: a tooth on a teal band and the phone to call on the front, and lines for the day and the time of the next visit on the back, written in by your staff as the patient leaves. It goes home in a pocket or on the fridge. It is too small to mail on its own, so it is a card for the counter; the larger teal and white checkup card is the one to mail six months later.
What an offer from a practice must carry
- An end date: when a price is advertised, say how long it lasts.
- The additional charges line: if X-rays or other services may cost more, say so beside the price.
- Plain claims: friendly words about your team and your hours, and no claims of being the best.
- Privacy: a postcard travels unsealed, so it names the visit, never a diagnosis.
Gyms, salons and spas
The join now card puts the offer and its last day in orange on charcoal for a gym's January push. The we miss you card is for the client who has not booked in a while: a serif headline on soft pink and an offer to come back. For a move or a new building, the open house card, teal with a white building, invites patients and neighbors to come see the new space and meet the people who work there.
